SITUATION VACANT
Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Headquarters office, Lahore for the appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff of the Signal Department on a contract basis for a period of one year. Suitable candidates having retired on superannuation (i.e., 60 years) can apply for the posts mentioned below, subject to physical fitness.

Maximum age limit: 62 years
Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment
Only candidates who have worked in the above category will be eligible for contract appointment.
The selected candidates will draw their salary according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under the contract appointment rules. However, they will not be entitled to any kind of gratuity and pension.
The period of the contract is one year, extendable for another year if required by Pakistan Railways.
The competent authority has the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
The number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
Selected candidates will be required to pass a medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital only.
Those who were retired compulsorily, removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds will not be eligible for appointment.
Call letters will only be issued to candidates eligible for contract appointments.
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interview and medical examination.
The selected persons will be posted anywhere in the entire Railway System.

Applications must be accompanied by attested copies of the following certificates and testimonials:
a. All educational certificates
b. National Identity Card (Computerized)
c. Railway retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate
d. Photocopy of PPO
e. Photocopy of LPC
f. Service Certificate
g. Three (03) fresh passport size photographs
h. Three (03) postal envelopes (with RAD card) with a complete address and cell number
i. Experience certificate from a renowned organization
