Job Announcement

Organization: SIBA Testing Services (STS)
Department: Public Health Engineering and Rural Development Department, Government of Sindh
Position: Sub Engineer
Number of Vacancies: 200 (Contract-based for three years, extendable subject to applicable laws of Sindh)

Eligibility Criteria

Domicile Requirement:
Candidates must hold a domicile in the Sindh province and possess a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized institute or university with at least a Second Division.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a three-year Diploma of Associate Engineer in the relevant field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical) from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) are also eligible if they have three years of relevant experience.

Experience:

  • Candidates must have three years of experience in the relevant engineering field.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 21 to 28 years old.

Professional Registration:

  • Candidates must be registered as a professional engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council.

Application Process

  1. Online Registration:
    Candidates must register online on the official STS candidate portal: https://apply.sts.net.pk.

  2. Application Fee:
    Upon completing the online application, candidates can download a system-generated challan of PKR 1500 (non-refundable). This fee can be paid at any ABL Bank Limited branch or through the bank's internet banking portal using the IBill reference number.

  3. Document Upload:
    Candidates must upload the following documents:

    • CNIC
    • Domicile
    • PRC/Form D
    • A recent passport-sized photograph
    • Educational certificates

  4. Verification:
    Original certificates will only be verified for candidates selected for the interview. Any candidate found to have submitted false declarations will be disqualified at any stage of the process.

  5. Application Deadline:
    No online applications will be considered after the submission deadline of November 11, 2024.

  • Candidates will be informed about test dates, times, and venues through online call letters, SMS, and the STS website.
  • Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the STS portal for updates regarding test dates, admit slips, results announcements, and other notifications.
