DIRECTORATE OF COLLEGE EDUCATION, KARACHI REGION

VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

The Regional Directorate of Colleges, Karachi Region, invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Karachi Division for the following posts. Applications must be submitted within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this advertisement. Eligibility, qualification, and experience criteria are given below:

General Instructions & Eligibility Criteria

  1. Application Submission: Eligible candidates must apply online via the Government of Sindh Job Portal:

  2. Screening Test:

    • Candidates must have successfully passed the General Screening Test (Graduate category) with at least 40 marks conducted by STS (Sukkur IBA Testing Services).

    • The STS certificate must be provided, as it is mandatory for appointment to the posts listed above.

  3. Age Calculation:

    • Age will be calculated as of the last date of submission of the application.

    • Age relaxation up to 5 years is admissible according to Sindh Civil Servants (Upper Age Limit Relaxation) Rules, 2024, and notifications issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (S&GAD), Government of Sindh (No. SOII (SGA&CD) 5-64/2011, dated 06.03.2025).

  4. Quota / Reservation: Initial appointments will be made in accordance with Government of Sindh policies, rules, and laws.

  5. Government Employees:

    • Candidates already in government service must obtain an NOC from their department before submitting the application.

    • Original NOC must be presented to the selection committee at the time of interview.

  6. Appointments:

    • Appointments will be made under the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and relevant rules, as amended from time to time.

  7. Interview:

    • Candidates will be called for interviews according to the schedule uploaded on the job portal.

    • Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.

    • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
