SITUATION VACANT

The National Accountability Bureau invites applications from Pakistani Nationals against the following temporary post, likely to continue for an indefinite period:

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS / IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Minimum Educational Qualification: 2nd Class Grade "C" Intermediate or equivalent with Shorthand Typing speed of 80/40 wpm respectively, along with a 3-month certificate in Computer Operations (MOM).

2. Age Limits: 18 to 30 years. (Relaxation is allowed as per government rules).

3. Calculation Date: Age, Qualification, and Experience shall be counted/examined as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

4. Selection Process: Only eligible candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned criteria will be shortlisted for an initial screening (typing test), which will be followed by a shorthand and typing test, before being called for a service interview.

5. Application Channel for Government Employees: Government Servants / Autonomous / Semi-Autonomous Corporation employees shall be required to apply through the proper channel.

6. Age Relaxation: In addition to the general relaxation rules, the following categories are admissible for further relaxation:

   • 5 years for candidates belonging to the Balochistan Province.

   • 15 years (or) the number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less, for candidates from the Armed Forces of Pakistan who are released or retired.

   • 10 years for Government servants who have completed 2 years of continuous government service as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

   • 10 years for the widow, son, or daughter of a deceased Government servant who died during service.

   • 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

   • Other relaxations as admissible under Government policy.

7. Multiple Relaxation Claims: Where a candidate is entitled to relaxation under more than one category specified above, he/she will be granted only one relaxation.

8. Quota System: Various quotas have been calculated in accordance with Federal Government policy.

9. Eligibility of Awaiting Results Candidates: Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.

10. Governing Rules: The above post will be governed by NAB Employees (Service) Rules, 2023.

11. Dual Nationality: Dual Nationality holders are eligible to apply for appointment against these posts.

12. TA/DA: TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.

13. Skill Relaxation (per Establishment Division OM): As per Federal Government revised vide Establishment Division Office Memorandum No. F.53/1/2018-CP/001, dated 22 October 2019, a one-time relaxation of the requirement to possess the prescribed skill at the time of initial appointment is admissible for identified posts up to BPS-16 requiring skills such as typing, shorthand, or basic computer proficiency. In case none of the candidates have any certifications at the time of selection, the selected candidates shall acquire the prescribed proficiency through departmental on-the-job training after joining, within the probation period. Their proficiency shall be assessed before confirmation, and failure to acquire it shall be dealt with under the applicable probation and service rules.
