VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Divisional Director Health Services, Quetta Division invites applications from eligible and qualified female candidates from across Pakistan for the appointment to 60 vacant positions of Female Staff Nurses (BPS-16) at the Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta. The positions are on a purely Adhoc/Contract basis for a period of 2 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

  • Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Venue: Office of the Divisional Director Health Services, Quetta Division, Provincial Health Directorate, Saryab Link Road, Quetta

Female Staff Nurse (BPS-16) 60 1. Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing from a university recognized by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC), or
2. A 3-year General Nursing Diploma with a 1-year Midwifery course or Post Basic Specialization Diploma.

Other Requirements:
- Permanent PNMC Registration.
- Verification of diplomas from the issuing Board/PNMC.
- BS Nursing degree holders must submit a completion certificate for 1-year internship training from a recognized hospital/institution.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Age Limits: As per the Government of Balochistan's current policy.
  2. Eligibility: Female candidates from all over Pakistan can apply. Preference will be given to candidates with local/domicile of Balochistan, subject to satisfactory interviews.
  3. Contractual Nature: Positions are not regularized but can be extended based on satisfactory performance, as certified by the Medical Superintendent of Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta.
  4. Salary and Allowances: Pay will be based on the respective BPS-16 scale along with applicable allowances.
  5. Application from Employees: Government, semi-government, and autonomous organization employees must apply through proper channels with an NOC from their employer/parent department.
  6. Variability in Positions: The number of available positions may increase or decrease.
  7. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  8. Selection Process:
    • Based solely on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.
    • Extra weightage will be given to candidates with specialization in Gynaecology, Medicine, Surgery, ICU, OT, and Rheumatology services.
    • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  9. Ineligibility:
    • Terminated or dismissed candidates from any government or non-government positions due to disciplinary action, misconduct, or offenses.
    • Concealment of facts or submission of forged documents will result in dismissal and legal action.
  10. Committee Rights: The Divisional Health Committee, Quetta reserves the right to cancel the interview process at any time without explanation.

  • Two sets of attested copies of relevant documents (including PNMC registration, educational certificates, professional experience, local/domicile certificate, CNIC, and updated CV).
