Recruitment of Soldiers in Pakistan Army

Registration & Recruitment Period

  • Registration and recruitment for soldier positions in the Pakistan Army will be conducted from March 3, 2025, to May 9, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality & Marital Status

  • Candidates must be Pakistani citizens, including residents of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
  • Both married and unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualifications

  • General Duty Soldier / Soldier Driver / Military Police Soldier: Minimum Matriculation (10th Grade) or higher.
    • For candidates from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s merged districts, and children of martyrs, the minimum qualification is Middle (8th Grade).
  • Nursing Assistant Soldier: Minimum FSc (Pre-Medical).
  • Technical Trade Soldier: Minimum Matric with Science or higher.
  • Clerk Soldier:
    • Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc) with at least 50% marks.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with a computer diploma and higher qualifications.
  • Sanitary Worker: Can be illiterate or have basic education.

Age Criteria

  • For all candidates: Must be between 17 to 23 years old as of May 10, 2025.
  • For candidates with higher education (Intermediate or above): Upper age relaxation of one year.
  • For children of martyrs, war-wounded personnel, and candidates with a valid driving license: Upper age relaxation of two years.
  • For candidates from Balochistan and merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Upper age relaxation of three years.

Physical Requirements

  • Height Requirements:
    • General Duty Soldier / Soldier Driver / Clerk: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167 cm).
    • Military Police Soldier: Minimum 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
    • Technical Trade Soldier / Nursing Assistant: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (162 cm).
    • Sanitary Worker: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
    • For candidates from Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan, height relaxation is available.

Required Documents

Candidates must bring the following original and attested documents:

  1. Original Educational Certificates (with attested photocopies).
  2. Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or B-form (if under 18).
  3. Domicile Certificate.
  4. Four passport-size photographs.
  5. Father’s CNIC copy.
  6. For candidates from Azad Kashmir: State-issued domicile certificate.
  7. For candidates eligible for relaxation: Relevant supporting documents.

Recruitment & Selection Process

  • Candidates can register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from February 24, 2025, to May 2, 2025.
  • Online registration is not mandatory. Candidates can also visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (ASRC) or Regimental Center from March 3, 2025, to May 9, 2025, for in-person registration.
  • After registration, candidates will go through multiple selection stages, including written, physical, and medical tests.
