MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

FCPS, MD, MS, PhD, M.Phil (in the relevant subject), or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by the PMDC.

1st Preference: Teaching/practical experience gained before obtaining the postgraduate qualification.
2nd Preference: Practical experience gained after obtaining the postgraduate qualification.
3rd Preference: Practical experience before and after obtaining the postgraduate qualification.

Credit will be given to original research publications published in a recognized Medical Journal.

Nature of Appointment: Appointments will be made on a regular basis in accordance with the rules and regulations of SZPGMI, Lahore.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be admissible as per Federal Government rules.
Quotas: Standard government quotas (Minorities, Women, and Transgender/Disabled quotas) will be observed as applicable.
Government Servants: Candidates already serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel. Provincial or Federal employees with a minimum of 2 years of continuous service are eligible for an upper age limit relaxation up to 55 years.
Information Verification: Providing false, forged, or misleading information at any stage will result in the immediate rejection of candidature and legal action by SZPGMI.
Rights of the Authority: The competent authority reserves the right to change, cancel, or postpone the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test, interview, or at the time of joining.
