Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC), operated by Barrick in joint venture with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is developing the world-class Reko Diq Copper-Gold Project in Balochistan.

RDMC is seeking high-caliber professionals to join its growing team and contribute to the successful development and operation of this landmark mining project.


Position 1: Senior Administrative Officer

Department: Government Relations

Location: Karachi

Qualifications

  • Relevant administrative or management certifications will be an advantage.

  • Education in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in office management and executive administrative support.

  • Proven track record of supporting senior management in a corporate environment.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills for managing internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of office administration, facilities coordination, vendor management, and logistics.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Leadership capability to supervise, mentor, and support junior administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and executive support to senior management, including:

    • Calendar management

    • Meeting coordination

    • Travel arrangements

  • Oversee daily office operations, including office supplies management.

  • Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings, managing logistics, vendors, and communications.

  • Act as a liaison between management, internal departments, and external stakeholders.

  • Draft, proofread, and manage:

    • Business correspondence

    • Reports

    • Contracts

    • Official documentation

  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.

  • Coordinate meeting logistics including room bookings, catering, audio-visual setup, and post-meeting follow-up.

  • Ensure accurate, confidential, and secure administrative records.

  • Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Coordinate with building management, service providers, and facilities teams.

  • Manage ERP/SAP activities, including:

    • Invoice processing

    • Purchase requisitions and purchase orders

    • Goods receipt processing

    • Vendor coordination

    • Expense reconciliation


Position 2: Health, Safety & Training Administrator

Department: Health & Safety

Location: Reko Diq Mine Site, Balochistan

Qualifications

  • Relevant Health, Safety, or Training Administration certifications will be an advantage.

  • Minimum education requirement: Senior High School Certificate or equivalent.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in Health, Safety & Training (HST) administration or a similar role.

  • Experience in mining, construction, heavy engineering, or resource industries preferred.

  • Experience working in a site-based operational environment.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate to Advanced level).

  • Ability to analyze and maintain Health & Safety KPIs.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with contractors and site stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet reporting deadlines.

  • High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage Health, Safety, and Training documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

  • Analyze incident and investigation data and maintain related documentation.

  • Prepare and distribute Health & Safety reports to relevant stakeholders.

  • Record and maintain End-of-Month (EOM) Health, Safety, and Training data.

  • Develop, update, and manage Health & Safety reporting schedules.

  • Manage monthly Health & Safety and Training KPIs and prepare reports for management review.

  • Schedule and support weekly and monthly HSS meetings, ensuring timely follow-ups.

  • Maintain personnel records, including onboarding, updates, and termination records.

  • Record and track trainee data, including competency units commenced and completed.

  • Evaluate and report on training and educational activities.

  • Educate site personnel on Training Standards and Procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with training and personnel information confidentiality requirements.

  • Perform other administrative and support duties as required to support Health & Safety operations.
