ADVERTISEMENT FOR AD-HOC APPOINTMENT OF SECTION OFFICERS (LAW DEPARTMENT)

CORRIGENDUM (AMENDED ADVERTISEMENT)

Applications are invited from candidates possessing the required educational qualifications and a State Subject Certificate (Permanent Resident of Azad Jammu & Kashmir) for ad-hoc appointments to ensure smooth official operations.

In the Department of Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs & Human Rights, 03 Permanent Posts of Section Officer (B-17) (for which a requisition has already been forwarded to the Public Service Commission) and 04 Temporary Posts are available.

Interested candidates must submit their applications by June 25, 2026.

Detailed Position Requirements

  • Position Name: Section Officer Law (B-17)

  • Total Number of Vacancies: 07

  • District Quota: Open Merit

  • Required Educational Qualification: LLB Degree (2nd Division) from any university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  • Age Limit: Minimum 25 years and Maximum 41 years.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Required Documentation: Applications must be submitted to the Secretariat of Law (addressed to the undersigned) along with attested copies of educational certificates, State Subject Certificate, Domicile, two passport-size photographs, and a contact number. Candidates who submit incomplete documentation will not be considered.

  2. Selection Process: After the evaluation of received applications, eligible candidates who meet the criteria will be issued separate call letters for the test/interview.

  3. Late Submissions: Applications received after the stipulated due date will not be entertained or acceptable.

  4. Nature of Appointment: The appointment of successful candidates will be on a temporary/ad-hoc basis for a period of six (06) months, or until the Public Service Commission recommends suitable candidates for permanent appointment (whichever occurs earlier), after which the ad-hoc contract will automatically stand terminated.

  5. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for candidates appearing for the test/interview.

  6. Previous Applicants: Candidates who have already applied in response to the previously issued advertisement do not need to apply again.
