Purpose: To invite applications from qualified individuals (from the province of Punjab) for multiple research positions funded by various external projects.

PROJECT BASED VACANT POSITIONS

Applications are invited from qualified individuals domiciled in the province of Punjab (both Hard & Soft form) for the following positions under the funded projects as detailed below:

CATEGORY-I

Project: Asia-Pacific Network Project No. CRRP 2025-SMAY-SEEEWANDI
Title: "Urban Ecosystem Based Adaptations for Climate Resilience: A Comparative Study of Policy Practice and Capacity Building in Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan"

• Policy analysis and comparative study methodologies, and report writing skills.
• Data analysis and visualization (e.g., Python, R, or similar tools).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL CATEGORIES:

  1. Application Submission: Applications (in hard form) on the prescribed form, available at the UET Taxila official website, must be completed in all respects. They should be accompanied by attested copies of:

    • Educational testimonials (Degrees/Certificates, Transcripts/DMCs)

    • Experience certificates (from Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies)

    • CNIC copy

    • One recent photograph

    • Valid registration copy of PEC (only applicable for degrees in engineering disciplines)

    • Submission Address: Mailed to the RA Office, UET Taxila.

    • Deadline: September 14, 2025 (Monday) by 3:30 PM.

  2. Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 2988/- for the project positions must be paid in favor of the Treasurer, UET Taxila, via Bank Drafts/Pay Orders/HBL Challan of UET Taxila Branch.

  3. Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for multiple positions are required to submit separate applications with separate application fees for each post.

  4. Project Basis: All posts are purely on a project basis and do not confer any right to regular employment in any of the above categories.

  5. Document Verification: Only qualifications and experiences supported by valid documentary proof attached up to the last date will be considered.

  6. Fake Documents: If any educational or other document provided by the applicant is found to be fake or incorrect at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.

  7. Late/Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications and those received after the due date shall be rejected without informing the applicant.

  8. Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be considered in light of Government/University rules on a case-to-case basis.

  9. Reservation of Rights: The University reserves the right to decrease the number of posts as per requirement without assigning any reason.

  10. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates, who meet the criteria, will be called for tests/interviews.

  11. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible at any stage.
