SITUATIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for appointment on a contract basis in the government-approved PSDP project titled “Establishment of China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre (CPIRC) on Earth Sciences” at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

Available Positions

1. Director (Civil Works)

• Pay Scale: PPS-9 (Rs. 306,250 – 15,315)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Upper Age Limit: 55 years

• Qualification:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering (18 years education) from HEC/PEC recognized institution

  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (16 years education) from HEC/PEC recognized institution

• Experience:

  • 6 years (with Master’s) or 8 years (with Bachelor’s) experience in monitoring and supervision of construction projects in public sector/Govt/Semi-Govt/autonomous bodies

  • Preference for candidates proficient in Contract Management (e.g., FIDIC, PEC, PPRA rules) and handling legal/regulatory matters

2. Accountant

• Pay Scale: PPS-7 (Rs. 157,500 – 7,875)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years

• Qualification:

  • BBA / M.Com / MBA (Finance and Accounting) or related degree (at least 2nd Division) from HEC recognized institute

• Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience, preferably in project accounting

3. Computer Operator

• Pay Scale: PPS-6 (Rs. 105,000 – 5,250)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Upper Age Limit: 40 years

• Qualification:

  • BS in Computer Science/IT (16 years)

  • OR Intermediate (12 years) with Diploma in Computer Science/IT

• Experience:

  • 2 years (for 16 years education) or 4 years (for 12 years education), preferably in PSDP projects

4. Quantity Surveyor

• Pay Scale: PPS-6 (Rs. 105,000 – 5,250)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Upper Age Limit: 40 years

• Qualification:

  • B.Tech (Civil Technology) with 4 years experience in Quantity Surveying

  • OR DAE (Civil) with 6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying (public sector preferred)

5. Sub Engineer

• Pay Scale: PPS-5 (Rs. 70,000 – 3,500)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

• Qualification:

  • B.Tech (Civil Technology) (at least 2nd Division) with 2 years experience

  • OR DAE (Civil) (at least 2nd Division) with 4 years experience

• Preference:

  • Experience in building construction and civil works projects in Govt/Semi-Govt/autonomous bodies

  • Experience in supervision and cost estimation of development projects

6. Assistant

• Pay Scale: PPS-5 (Rs. 70,000 – 3,500)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

• Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree

• Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in administration/operations in public or private sector

7. Attendant

• Pay Scale: PPS-1 (Rs. 28,000 – 3,400)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Upper Age Limit: 30 years

• Qualification:

  • Literate
