Punjab Labour Court is a law enforcement agency established in 2010. Distinct law passed which is called Punjab Industrial Relations Act in 2010 for founding this institutions. Tribunals have been setup in the major cities of Pakistan. Appellate Authority is higher authority which supervises these courts. Superior judicial officials are appointed as presiding officers of these courts. There are various legislations present according to which these benches work. There has been various violations in the labour market of Punjab in the past and there was no authority for providing relief to the victims. Labor bars also collaborative with other departments of the Government of Punjab.
Many professionals are needed in the labour courts of Punjab. Employments are hired according to the criteria setup by the Government of Punjab. Recruitment Policy was made in 2004. Candidates are selected by the assessment test of National Testing Service. It is a governmental organization which takes tests for various purposes. Some of them are for the students while others might be for the jobs. It provides roll number slips and different test centers to the candidates. Mostly test is held in Lahore. Merit is being made when NTS exams are organized properly. Candidates have to apply for the tests which their authentic documents. Eligible candidates are called for the interviews. These determine finally selection or rejection of the candidates. They are required to bring their original documents at the time of the interviews. Newly appointed employees are provided with numerous benefits. Their salaries are increased on the basis of performance. Some of the employees are made as permanent.
