Project Staff Required (HEC Funded Project)

Applications are invited from eligible Pakistani Nationals for the following project-based positions purely on a contract basis for the HEC-funded project titled "Strengthening & Expansion of University of Narowal".

?? Key Information at a Glance

  • Application Deadline: June 11, 2026, by 04:00 PM

  • Nature of Job: Purely contract and project-based. These posts will be permanently abolished upon completion of the project; selected candidates cannot claim regular employment.

* B.Sc. (2nd Division) in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.

 

* Mandatory: Active registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Civil Engineer.

 

* Minimum 5 years of post-qualification, relevant executive-level experience in the construction sector.

 25–45 Years
2 IT Administrator / Deputy Director (Information Technology Services) PPS-8 01

* MS or M.Phil. (2nd Division) in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication Systems, or equivalent with 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience.

 

OR

 

* Master's degree (2nd Division) in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication Systems, or equivalent with 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience from an HEC-recognized institute.

 25–45 Years
3 Assistant Engineer (Civil) PPS-7 01

* B.Sc. (2nd Division) in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.

 

* Mandatory: Active registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Civil Engineer.

 21–35 Years
4 Accounts Officer / Assistant Treasurer PPS-7 01 * MBA, M.Com, ACMA, ACCA, or M.Sc. (2nd Division) in Economics, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university. 21–35 Years

## Application Assembly & Submission Protocol

Candidates must meticulously prepare their application packages according to the following guidelines:

  1. Procurement of Forms: Download the official job application form directly from the University of Narowal website: www.uon.edu.pk. Only forms uploaded on this official portal will be accepted.

  2. Three (03) Complete Sets Required: Applicants must compile and submit three separate sets of their application. Each individual set must contain:

    • The completed job application form.

    • Attested copies of all degrees.

    • Both sides of transcripts / Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs).

    • Attested/verified experience certificates.

    • Current CV/Resume.

    • No Objection Certificate (NOC) (if applicable).

    • Domicile & CNIC copies.

    • Recent passport-size photographs.

  3. Mailing Label: Clearly write the Name of the Post Applied For on the top right side of the dispatch envelope.

## Crucial Rules & Regulations

?? Document Authenticity: The absolute responsibility for the validity of the documents lies with the applicant. Providing false, altered, or incorrect data at any stage will result in immediate disqualification and legal/disciplinary action.

  • In-Service Candidates: Individuals currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies (including current UON employees) must apply through the proper channel and attach a formal NOC issued by their competent authority.

  • Ineligible Experience: Experience gained on a daily-wage, part-time, honorary, or apprentice basis will not be considered.

  • Private Sector Experience: Experience letters from private organizations will only be validated if the entity is registered with the SECP, Registrar of Firms, or another recognized regulatory authority.

  • Foreign Degrees: Applicants holding international degrees must attach an equivalence certificate issued and attested by the HEC / IBCC.

  • Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxations may be granted under standard Government of the Punjab / University statutes.

  • Exclusions: Anyone dismissed, terminated, or penalized from service by any court of law, tribunal, university, or government body is ineligible to apply.

  • Testing & Selection: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the university's service statutes will be contacted for tests/interviews. No TA/DA will be paid.
