General Instructions:

  1. Eligibility Criteria: As per Higher Education Commission (HEC) standards.
    • Age limit for Professors: 40-45 years
    • Age limit for Associate Professors and below: 40 years
  2. Application Requirements:
    • Submit attested copies of degrees, photos, result cards, transcripts, and certificates (attested by HEC or relevant board), and research publications (where applicable).
    • Separate application forms are required for each post.
    • Forms can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar, University of Poonch Rawalakot, or downloaded from the university's website.
    • Payment:
      • BPS-19 and above: Rs. 4000/-
      • BPS-17 & 18: Rs. 2000/-
    • Applicants for Professor/Associate Professor positions should submit FIVE sets of testimonials and publications.
  3. Important Details:
    • Applicants in-service can apply through proper channels for age relaxation.
    • Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificates issued by HEC.
    • Attach a Marks Obtained/Total Marks certificate for all degrees (CGPA conversion will be applied).
    • Relevant experience must be supported by documentary proof.
    • The university reserves the right to cancel advertised posts.
    • If applicants for Lecturer/Assistant Professor exceed 30, a written screening test will be conducted.
    • Preference will be given to AJ&K nationals.
    • Applications from candidates with disabilities are encouraged.
