Applications are invited from highly qualified and experienced professionals for the following teaching position on a contract basis for a period of two (2) years, extendable based on satisfactory performance:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must meet the following qualification and experience requirements as prescribed by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) / HEC-recognized body:

A. QUALIFICATIONS (Essential)

  • FCPS (Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan) OR

  • MD (Doctor of Medicine) OR

  • MS (Master of Surgery) OR

  • An equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by the PMDC.

B. EXPERIENCE (Essential)

  • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of teaching experience as a Professor or Associate Professor in a recognized medical college, in the relevant subject.

  • The experience must be post-MD/MS/FCPS and in a recognized institution.

C. RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS (Essential)

  • Must have at least Two (2) research publications in relevant subject areas published in HEC-recognized / PMDC-approved journals.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Contract Duration: The appointment will be made on a contract basis for a period of 02 years (extendable on yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance).

  2. Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 55-60 years (relaxable for highly qualified candidates as per SBC/Government rules).

  3. Salary Package: A competitive salary package will be offered as per the admissible scale (BPS-20/21) plus allowances as per college rules.

  4. Application Process:

    • Interested candidates are required to submit their detailed CV / Resume, along with attested copies of all educational degrees, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile, and recent passport-sized photographs.

    • Application Fee: A processing fee of Rs. 5,000/- (non-refundable) must be deposited in the form of a Bank Draft / Pay Order in favor of "Principal, Khairpur Medical College".

  5. Submission: Complete applications must reach the office of the undersigned within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

  6. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.

  7. Original Documents: Candidates must bring their original credentials/documents for verification at the time of the interview.
