Karachi Metropolitan University (KMU) – Job Vacancies

Karachi Metropolitan University (KMU) is a public-sector university established under Sindh Assembly Act No. LIV of 2023, located in Block M, North Nazimabad, in the central district of Karachi. KMU is a modern, entrepreneurial, and technology-driven institution dedicated to:

KMU invites applications for teaching and non-teaching positions on a contractual basis of three years (extendable).

1. Teaching Positions

Eligibility:
All teaching positions must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

2. Non-Teaching Positions

  • Director – Information Technology

  • Director – Planning and Development

  • Director – Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC)

  • Manager – Planning and Development

3. Instructions for Applicants

  1. Clearly mention the name of the post and specialty on the top-right corner of the envelope.

  2. Applicants currently in government service must apply through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

  3. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  4. A pre-screening test may be conducted if the number of applications exceeds expectations.

  5. The University reserves the right to cancel any advertised position at any stage without reason.

  6. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

  7. Age relaxation is subject to approval by the Scrutiny Committee.

  8. No TA/DA will be provided for interviews or tests.

  9. All documents and experience claims will be verified; false or misleading information may lead to disqualification or termination.
