CAREER OPPORTUNITIES (TEACHING POSITIONS)
The University of Mirpurkhas invites applications from eligible candidates on the prescribed application form for the following faculty positions. Applications must include attested photocopies of all relevant documents and a non-refundable Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 4000/- (in favour of The University of Mirpurkhas).

1. Professor (BPS-21)
Departments:
Information Technology
Computer Science
Qualification:
PhD in relevant field from an HEC recognized institution
Experience:
15 years of teaching/research in HEC recognized university/postgraduate institution
OR
10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized university/postgraduate institution
Research Publications:
Minimum 15 publications in HEC-recognized journals
At least 5 publications in the last 5 years
2. Associate Professor (BPS-20)
Department:
Computer Science
Qualification:
PhD in relevant field from an HEC recognized institution
Experience:
10 years of teaching/research in HEC recognized university/postgraduate institution
OR
5 years post-PhD teaching/research experience
Research Publications:
Minimum 10 publications in HEC-recognized journals
At least 4 publications in the last 5 years
3. Assistant Professor (BPS-19)
Department:
English
Qualification:
PhD in relevant field from an HEC recognized institution
Additional Preference:
Publications in reputed journals (at least in Y Category)

Application Format:
Candidates for Professor & Associate Professor must submit 4 copies of:
CV / Bio-data
Research papers
Documents of teaching/research experience
List of research publications (in hard binding)
Include reference letter from current/previous employer.
Eligibility Requirements:
Only candidates with Sindh domicile may apply.
No third division allowed in the entire academic career.
Experience and qualifications will be evaluated as of the closing date.
Government/Semi-Government Employees:
Must apply through proper channel
Submit NOC from current employer
Must be able to properly relieve from current job if selected
Foreign Degree Holders:
Must submit HEC equivalence certificate
Application Submission:
Use separate application form and bank draft for each post if applying for multiple positions.
Clearly mark the position applied for on the envelope.
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Interview/Test Information:
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
No TA/DA will be provided

Contract Duration: 2 years (extendable)
Appointment is under Sindh Government Defined Contributory Pension Scheme/Policy
Already regular public sector faculty appointed on higher positions will be offered regular appointment
