Qualification & Experience Requirements

1. Director, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) – BPS-20

Qualification:

• PhD / MS / MPhil (preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a relevant field) from an HEC-recognized university

Experience:

• Minimum 12 years experience in academia, administration, or quality assurance in higher education institutions

• At least 05 years in a leadership/managerial role related to quality assurance, accreditation, or institutional research

• Proven experience in:

  • Self-Assessment Reports (SARs)

  • Program Accreditation

  • HEC Ranking Processes

  • Compliance with HEC / QAA policies

• Strong understanding of:

  • HEC criteria

  • National Qualifications Framework (NQF)

  • Outcome-Based Education (OBE)

Preferred:

• Publications in quality assurance and higher education

• Membership in professional bodies (e.g., QAA, APQN, INQAAHE)

• Experience with international accreditation systems (e.g., ABET, AACSB, NCEAC, PEC)

2. Director, ORIC – BPS-20

Qualification:

• PhD / MS / MPhil (preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a relevant field) from an HEC-recognized university

• PhD candidates will be preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 12 years experience in academia or research administration

• At least 05 years in leadership/managerial roles related to:

  • Research development

  • Technology transfer and commercialization

  • Innovation management

Required Expertise:

• Research grants and funding proposals

• Industry linkages and technology incubation

• Patents and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

• HEC-funded research projects

• Research impact assessment and commercialization strategies

Preferred:

• Strong research profile with publications in impact factor journals

• Experience establishing innovation hubs, incubators, and startups

• Membership in research organizations (e.g., HEC ORIC Network, UNESCO, IEEE, ACM)

• International exposure in research collaboration and industry linkages

3. Director IT – BPS-19

Qualification:

• First Class Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science / Computer Systems from an HEC-recognized university

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years experience in:

  • IT planning and system design

  • Database development

  • Networking and security

  • Web and video conferencing systems

  • E-learning platforms

  • IT operations, ERP systems, and data centers

• Experience must be in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies

• Mandatory: At least 03 years’ experience in BPS-18 or equivalent

Preferred:

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, Security Certifications, or related credentials from reputed international institutions

4. Deputy Director Finance – BPS-18

Qualification & Experience (Option 1):

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Commerce / Economics / Finance, preferably First Class, from an HEC-recognized university

• Minimum 06 years experience in Audit & Accounts in a post equivalent to BPS-17 or above in a:

  • University

  • Board / College

  • Government Department

  • Recognized commercial organization

OR

Qualification & Experience (Option 2):

• B.Com (First Class preferred) from an HEC-recognized university

• Minimum 10 years experience in Finance, Audit & Accounts in a post equivalent to BPS-17 or above

Preference:

• Candidates with experience in Public Sector Universities will be preferred

1. Candidates serving in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and will be responsible for obtaining proper relief from their departments.

2. Maximum age limit: 45 years, relaxable up to 05 years in exceptional cases for highly qualified candidates.
