NATIONAL ELECTRIC POWER REGULATORY AUTHORITY (NEPRA)

Job Advertisement (English Translation & Structured Format)

NEPRA is the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing matters related to the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power services in Pakistan. The Authority invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for its Head Office in Islamabad.

All positions will be offered on a lump-sum salary package, subject to applicable taxes, and will be purely on a contract basis for two (02) years, extendable with mutual consent.

Available Positions

1. Principal Tariff Advisor (02 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have at least 16 years of education in one of the following fields:

  • Accounting, Business, Commerce, Finance, or Economics
  • MBA or MS in Business Administration / Finance or equivalent
  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Cost & Management Accountant (CMA)
  • ACCA

?? Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications or foreign degrees.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 22 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Experience in the power sector will be preferred

Relaxation Note:

  • Up to 05 years relaxation in experience may be granted for candidates with power sector experience or exceptional profiles.

2. Senior Tariff Advisor (02 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

Same as above:

  • 16 years of education in Accounting / Business / Commerce / Finance / Economics
  • MBA / MS (Business Administration / Finance or equivalent)
  • CA / CMA / ACCA

?? Preference for higher qualifications or foreign degrees.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 16 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Preference for power sector experience

Relaxation Note:

  • Up to 03 years relaxation may be granted for exceptional candidates.

3. Tariff Advisor (02 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

  • 16 years of education in Accounting / Business / Commerce / Finance / Economics
  • MBA / MS (relevant field)
  • CA / CMA / ACCA

?? Higher qualifications preferred.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Preference for power sector experience

Relaxation Note:

  • Up to 02 years relaxation may be granted for exceptional candidates.
