URAAN PAKISTAN — POSITION VACANT

Bahria University is seeking applications from dynamic, qualified, and experienced individuals for the following position:

Position Title: Principal

Location: BU College of Medicine, Islamabad

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Academic Qualifications:

    • Must hold the rank of Professor with Level-III qualification as per the guidelines of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).

  2. Professional Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge of current teaching methodologies and familiarity with standards of PM&DC, HEC, CPSP, and other regulatory bodies.

    • Proven ability to lead faculty and administrative staff with efficiency and strategic insight.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Demonstrated capability to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders in the medical education sector.

    • Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and institutional development.

    • Expertise in implementing quality assurance and accreditation processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with the university’s mission and objectives.

  • Promote a culture of academic discipline, research excellence, and innovation.

  • Organize and oversee accreditation processes with all relevant bodies, ensuring successful compliance and recognition.

  • Enforce strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory frameworks, maintaining ethical standards and compliance.

  • Establish strong professional relationships with faculty, students, alumni, and academic collaborators.

  • Uphold professional excellence and lead all institutional functions efficiently.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the university’s authorities.
