SITUATIONS VACANT
Jamshoro Power Company Ltd (JPCL) located at Jamshoro is primarily responsible for generating electricity efficiently and managing the operation and maintenance of the Power Plant as per best utility practices in the best interest of the country. JPCL under its supervision is currently involved in successful commissioning of the 660 MW Coal Fired Power Project
JPCL is seeking highly qualified & experienced, dynamic and vibrant candidate for the following contract position.

Job Specification
i. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Mech/ Electronics). Higher qualification in relevant field will be preferred.
PIU Manager
ii. Minimum 20 years of power sector experience at national or international level.
iii. Experience in setting up power plants in managerial positions is a must. Experience of Public Procurement Procedures and Regulations will be preferred.
iv. Project Plant Management experience out of which 10 years working experience in power project in leading role directly reporting to the top management.
v. Working knowledge of MS Project/ Primavera and/or other relevant project management tools. Preference will be given to the candidates who have worked as Project Director for a coal power project.
vi. Having leadership skills, management & team building experience and excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Job Profile
PIU Manager will report CEO JPCL and will work closely for the development of the project and its strategic plan to advance Mission & Objectives of JPCL
PIU Manager will ensure efficiency & transparency in the execution of the project with goal oriented approach.
TENURE & REMUNERATION PACKAGE & Age:
• The assignment will be purely on contract basis initially for a period of one (01) year, extendable as per applicable rules
and subject to satisfactory performance need basis. The selected candidates will work under the managerial control of the CEO, JPCL and CEO, GHCL
A negotiable market-based salary package will be offered to the selected candidates considering their qualification and experience.
• Candidate should not be more than 55 years of age on the closing date of the receipt of CV/ application.
