Pakistan Scouts Cadet College
The Pakistan Scouts Cadet College is a boarding college established in 1996. It is situated in hills of Mansehra. The college is teaching classes from 7 th class to intermediate. It is first ever college of the world being ran by a scout organization. The college trains students discipline, leadership and excellence. Pakistan Scouts Association and the Government of Pakistan established the college with mutual collaboration. The college was initially built to give accommodation to Bosnian refugees which later converted into scout boarding college. The college administration believes in providing high quality education.
There are no more than 30 students in each section of any class from 7 th to intermediate. The teachers are lead by chief instructor and a head examiner manages the examinations section. The college has a well-organized system curricular and extracurricular activities are offered side by side. The overall functions are under supervision of principal and vice-principle. The college has total of 8 hostel with names Ravi, Mehran, Bolan, Neelum, Kaghan, Iqbal (Kargil), Khyber and Jinnah (Upper Kaghan). Each of the hostels has no more than 100 cadets and the hostel masters run the hostel system. The college has Music and Dramatics Club, Debating Club (Urdu & English Separate), Scouting Club, Biology Club, Physics Club, Chemistry Club, Photography Club, Library Club, NCC Club, Health Club, Islamic Club, Gardening Club, Hiking and Mountaineering Club, Driving Club, Horse Riding Club, Gym Club and huge sports ground to execute extracurricular activities.
