Job Announcement: Nursing Director - MTI Dera Ismail Khan (Full-Time)

The Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Dera Ismail Khan invites applications from qualified and experienced male/female candidates for the position of Nursing Director (Full-Time) at MTI Dera Ismail Khan.

Position: Nursing Director - MTI Dera Ismail Khan

Location: Dera Ismail Khan
Contract Type: Full-Time (5-year contract, renewable)

Qualification & Experience:

Education:
Qualified nurse with an advanced degree in Nursing (e.g., B.Sc. Nursing), current Nursing Council registration. Preference will be given to candidates holding an MSCN degree.

Experience:
At least 7 years of administrative and teaching experience in a reputable healthcare facility.

Main Responsibilities:

Leadership & Oversight:

Oversee all nursing functions, ensuring effective training for nursing staff.

Ensure adequate nursing staffing for clinical needs across MTI facilities.

Maintain high nursing standards through regular audits and evaluations.

Board Responsibility:

The Nursing Director will be directly responsible to the Board of Governors and shall report accordingly.

Conflict of Interest:

The candidate must not have any conflict of interest with the position.

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform other duties as prescribed by the Board of Governors.

Selection Criteria:

Shortlisting: Based on educational qualifications and relevant experience.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before the Selection & Recruitment Committee.

Candidates must be available for immediate appointment.

Government employees must provide a Willingness Certificate to leave their current service and join MTI Dera Ismail Khan.
