?? Position Available: Nursing Director (Full-Time)

The Medical Teaching Institution D.I. Khan invites applications from eligible male and female candidates for the post of Nursing Director. This is a full-time, contract-based leadership position in one of the province’s key clinical and teaching institutions.

?? Position Details

Job Title: Nursing Director

Type of Employment: Full-Time (Contract)

Contract Duration: 5 Years (Renewable)

Location: MTI D.I. Khan

? Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Educational Qualification:

BSc Nursing from a recognized university

Preference will be given to candidates with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSCN)

Professional Certification:

Valid registration with the Nursing Council

Experience:

Minimum 7 years of administrative and teaching experience in a reputable healthcare facility

?? Key Responsibilities

The Nursing Director will oversee and ensure the highest quality of nursing care and performance. Duties include:

Supervising all nursing functions across clinical departments

Ensuring adequate staffing for all clinical services

Leading nursing audits and upholding care standards

Organizing nursing training and development

Maintaining effective coordination with the Board of Governors

Ensuring conflict-free service and full compliance with MTI rules

Performing additional duties as directed by the Board

?? Selection Process

Shortlisting will be based on educational qualifications and relevant experience

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews by the Selection & Recruitment Committee

Final selection is subject to approval by the Board of Governors (BoG), MTI D.I. Khan

Government servants must provide a “Willingness Certificate” confirming intent to resign upon selection

Candidate must be available to join immediately, to be confirmed during the interview

Appointment will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reforms Act, 2015 (amended), and MTI D.I. Khan Regulations, 2019

Upon selection, candidates must resign from any other employment, including civil services

If resignation from government service is not accepted during probation, the appointment will be cancelled ab initio
