LADY READING HOSPITAL – MEDICAL TEACHING INSTITUTION, PESHAWAR
VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Applications are invited for the following position on a contract basis:

Position: Nursing Director

Qualification & Experience Required:

  • The applicant must be a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with an advanced degree in Nursing (BSc-N), preferably MS(N) or MA.
  • At least 7 years of administrative and teaching experience in a reputable healthcare facility is required.
  • The applicant must hold a current Nursing Council Registration.

Main Responsibilities:
The Nursing Director will oversee all nursing functions, which include but are not limited to:

  1. Training and development of nursing staff.
  2. Ensuring adequate nursing staff to meet all clinical needs.
  3. Maintaining and enforcing the highest nursing standards.
  4. Conducting regular audits of nursing functions.
  5. Preparing an annual plan and budget for the nursing department.
  6. Performing other duties as prescribed by the Board.

The Nursing Director will report directly to the Board of Governors.
