The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, has announced two (02) vacancies for the position of Member, Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) . The Finance Division is seeking full-time services of persons of known integrity, expertise, eminence, and experience to fill these positions.

The eligibility criteria require candidates to hold a Master's degree (at least 16 years of education) from a recognized institution, with professional experience of not less than 20 years in the areas of accountancy, commerce, economics, finance, or law. The maximum age limit is 62 years. Shortlisting will be conducted through an evaluation based on qualifications, additional higher qualifications in relevant fields, leadership roles, regulatory experience, and other criteria.

The remuneration package will be as per Rule-4 of the Competition Commission (Salary, Terms and Conditions of Chairman and Members) Rules, 2009, at the median of the MP-I scale, with entitlement to annual increments earned in the normal course. All terms and conditions of service are subject to revision by the Federal Government from time to time.

In case of selection, candidates currently working in Government Departments, Semi-Government Departments, International Financial Institutions, Multilateral Organizations, Autonomous or Semi-Autonomous Bodies, or the private sector, etc., will be required to resign or seek retirement before joining the Commission. Acceptance of resignation from the previous job is mandatory for charge assumption in case of selection.

The selected candidates shall be appointed for a term of three (03) years. The selected candidate shall cease to hold office as Member, CCP upon attaining the age of sixty-five (65) years or expiry of the term, whichever is earlier.
