Government of Pakistan – Finance Division

Vacancy Announcement

Position: Member, Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP)

The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, invites applications from experienced and qualified professionals of known integrity for the position of Member at the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP). This is a full-time role requiring high-level expertise in relevant fields.

? Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Master’s Degree (minimum 16 years of education) in any of the following fields from a recognized institution:

Accountancy

Commerce

Economics

Finance

Law

Professional Experience:

Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience in the aforementioned fields.

Age Limit:

Maximum age at the time of application: 62 years

Shortlisting Criteria (if candidates exceed 15):
In case of a large number of applicants, shortlisting will be done based on:

Local or foreign qualifications

Additional higher degrees in the relevant field

Experience in leadership or regulatory roles

?? Remuneration Package

Compensation will be as per Rule-4 of the Competition Commission (Salary, Terms, and Conditions of Chairman and Members) Rules, 2009.

Pay scale: Median of MP-I Scale, with entitlement to annual increments under MP-I terms.

All terms and conditions are subject to revision by the Federal Government.

Government departments

Semi-Government institutions

Autonomous/Semi-autonomous bodies

International Financial Institutions

Multilateral organizations

Private sector
must resign or retire from their current position prior to joining CCP if selected.

Proof of acceptance of resignation will be mandatory at the time of appointment.

?? Tenure

The appointment will be for a fixed term of three (03) years.

The Member shall cease to hold office upon:

Completion of the term, or

Attaining the age of 65 years
(whichever occurs earlier).
