VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Ayub Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad, invites applications for the following leadership position:


?? Position Title: Medical Director (Postgraduate)

?? No. of Posts: One (01)

?? Remuneration: As per MTI rules and regulations


Eligibility Criteria

? Minimum Qualifications:

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC.

Additional postgraduate qualification (e.g., FCPS, FRCS, MRCP, or equivalent) will be preferred.

? Experience:

Minimum of 07 years’ experience in a senior management or leadership position in a hospital or medical teaching institution.

Proven track record of administrative and clinical leadership, preferably in a public sector setup.

Experience in healthcare quality improvement, hospital operations, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.


Main Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction for the hospital’s clinical services.

Oversee the implementation of clinical governance frameworks.

Ensure the highest standards of medical care, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.

Collaborate with academic and administrative departments for training, research, and development.

Facilitate capacity building and institutional growth aligned with the vision of MTI.


Selection Criteria:

Candidates will be evaluated based on qualifications, relevant experience, leadership capabilities, and vision for institutional development.

The Selection Committee will recommend the most suitable candidate to the Board of Governors for final approval.


Terms & Conditions:

Appointment will be on a contract basis under the MTI Act.

Competitive salary and benefits package as per institutional rules.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

No TA/DA will be admissible for interviews.
