A public sector organization invites applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated Pakistani nationals for the following hands-on Cyber Security positions.

The selected professionals will support the protection of enterprise IT systems and networks through:

  • Security engineering

  • Monitoring

  • Vulnerability management

Position 01: Manager (Cyber Security)

 
Category Details
Desirable Qualification MS/MSc (1st Division)
Essential Qualification BE/BS (1st Division)
Disciplines Information Security / Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering or equivalent from a HEC-recognized reputable university
Experience Bachelor's degree holders: 6–7 years overall post-qualification experience
Master's degree holders: 4 years overall post-qualification experience
Including at least 4 years of relevant experience in cyber security

Core Requirements (At least one certification):

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Offsec Certified Professional (OSCP)

  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Penetration Tester (GPEN)

  • GIAC Certified Information Handler (GCIH)

Desirable Certifications:

  • Relevant networking, satellite communications, RF, or vendor-specific security certifications

Position 02: Assistant Manager (Cyber Security)

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

  • CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+)

  • CompTIA PenTest+

  • GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)

Desirable Certifications:

  • Networking, Linux, Microsoft, firewall, SIEM, satellite communication, or RF-related certifications

2?? GENERAL CONDITIONS / INSTRUCTIONS

 
# Condition
1 Only one 2nd division allowed in entire educational career; however, final degree must be 3.0 CGPA. No 3rd Division in entire educational career is allowed.
2 Candidates who have done O/A levels should provide equivalent marks (given by IBCC) in online application.
3 Minimum age: 18 years
Upper age limit: 35 years
Cut-off date for age calculation is the closing date for submission of applications. Upper age limit can be relaxed in case of specialized experience/qualification.
4 For Engineers: Candidates must have registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
5 Vacancies are purely temporary but likely to be continued for an indefinite period. Decision regarding appointment on Contributory Pension Fund (CPF) or Provident Fund (PF) basis will be communicated on finalization of selection process/respective policy.
6 Compliance to selection criteria does not guarantee short-listing. If a large number of applicants fulfill selection criteria, only the most suitable candidates having higher grades in respective degree/relevant experience would be short-listed for written test.
7 Candidates already in Government service should apply Through Proper Channel and submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview from their parent department.
8 Candidate can apply for one post only.

10 Test and Interviews will be conducted only at Islamabad. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
