VACANCY BREAKDOWN & ELIGIBILITY

1. Manager (Information Technology) (OG-II)

• Total Posts: 02

• Locations: Islamabad Campus (01), Wah Campus (01)

• Employment Type: Contractual position on a Fixed Salary.

• Educational Qualification: First Class 16-Year degree in the relevant field (Computing, Computer Science, or IT) from an accredited academic institution.

• Experience Required: Minimum 07 years of relevant experience in a University or other national/international organization.

2. Assistant Manager (Information Technology)

• Total Posts: 02

• Locations: Principal Seat, Islamabad

• Educational Qualification: First Class 16-Year degree in the relevant field (Computing, Computer Science, or IT) from an accredited academic institution.

• Experience Required: Minimum 02 years of relevant experience in a University or other national/international organization.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Preferred Technical Expertise (Both Positions)

• Languages & Frameworks: C#, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core / .NET 8 / .NET 10

• Database & Architecture: SQL Server Database Design & Optimization, Software Architecture, and Design Patterns

• Integration & Cloud: REST APIs, System Integration, Cloud & On-Premises Application Deployment

• Processes & Tools: Enterprise Application Development, DevOps, CI/CD, Version Control Systems, Cybersecurity Best Practices

• Management: Project Management and Team Leadership

Core Job Responsibilities

Step 2: Hard-Copy Submission Dossier

After completing the online form, compile a hard-bound application dossier containing:

1. Printout of the fully completed online application form.

2. HEC-attested Terminal Degree / HEC Equivalency Certificate (for foreign degrees).

3. Attested copies of all educational certificates/degrees starting from Matriculation onwards.

4. Attested copy of valid CNIC.

5. All professional experience certificates.

6. One (01) recent passport-size photograph.

7. A non-refundable Pay Order / Demand Draft of Rs. 2,000/- processing fee made in favor of "COMSATS University Islamabad".

• If applying for multiple positions or different campuses, you must submit a separate application package and separate processing fee for each.
