Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials (IRCBM)

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials (IRCBM) at CUI Lahore Campus invites applications on an open-merit basis from exceptional professionals to join its research ecosystem. For nearly two decades, IRCBM has focused on bridging the gap between lab-based scientific concepts and affordable, patient-friendly medical solutions.

POSITION DETAILS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Scientific Officer

  • Total Vacancies: 02

  • Pay Scale Tier: OG-1

  • Educational Background:

    • First-class, 16-year degree in a Natural Science discipline within a relevant field from an accredited academic institution.

    • Eligible Fields: Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Experience Metric: Minimum of 02 years of relevant experience working within a university or an established national/international research organization.

TERMS, CONDITIONS & APPLICATION PROCESS

?? Mandatory Dual Submission: Candidates must complete both the online registration and submit physical printed documents with a processing fee to be eligible for consideration.

  2. Step 2 (Hard Copy Dossier): Print the duly filled online application form and attach HEC-attested copies of all academic degrees, transcripts, and relevant non-academic professional credentials.

  3. Application Processing Fee: Enclose a non-refundable Pay Order / Demand Draft of Rs. 2,000/- drawn in favor of "COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus". Applications without this fee will be discarded.

  4. Government Employees: Candidates currently working in public, autonomous, or semi-government sectors must apply through the proper channel using an official NOC.

  5. Selection Standards: Only shortlisted profiles matching the technical metrics will be contacted for a test or interview. CUI reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any application at any stage.
