VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – MANAGER FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), comprising Shalamar Hospital (SH), Shalamar Medical & Dental College (SMDC), Shalamar Nursing College, and Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences (SSAHS), invites applications for the position of Manager Facilities Management.

1. Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree: BE/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering

  • Preferred: Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution

2. Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in a teaching hospital or healthcare environment is preferred

3. Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  1. Leading civil maintenance, renovations, and infrastructure improvement projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  2. Managing and maintaining Air Conditioning, Electrical Services, and Telephone Exchange systems.

  3. Overseeing hospital-wide facilities planning, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades.

  4. Establishing safety standards and preventive maintenance systems.

  5. Managing contractors, defining scopes of work, timelines, and supervising quality of ongoing projects.
