VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Government of the Punjab, Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Department has established a Project Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU-ITBMS) under the IT-Based Monitoring System Project. The objective of the project is to enhance governance and improve service delivery across all local governments in Punjab by digitizing core functions including:
Sanitation
Solid Waste Management
HR Management Information Systems (HRMIS)
Financial Management
Asset Management
Applications are invited from qualified professionals for the following performance-based contract positions up to June 2027, extendable based on departmental needs and satisfactory performance. The department offers an excellent working environment and growth opportunities.

2 | Database Administrator | 1 | 45 years | - Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields from an HEC-recognized local or foreign institution. - At least 2 years of experience in MySQL database management and administration. - Must be well-versed in database functions, optimization, performance tuning, and security. - Preference for experience with local government data systems. |
3 | Mobile Application Developer | 1 | 45 years | - Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields. - At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development. - Strong communication skills required. - Preference will be given to candidates with local government sector experience in finance or data systems. |
