Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company (PCMMDC) is a Section 42 company incorporated under the Companies Act 2017 and wholly owned by the Government of Punjab. The company invites applications for the position of Legal Consultant on a retainer-ship basis, initially for a one-year contract, which is extendable based on mutual consent and satisfactory performance.

The legal consultants will represent the company in Lower Courts (civil, session, special courts, ombudsman, arbitration, tribunals, etc.) across various Divisions of Punjab.

?? Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

LLB / LLB (Hons) from a recognized institution

Professional Experience

Minimum 8 years of active legal practice in Lower Courts

Must hold a valid High Court License

Additional Requirements

Must be a registered member of the District Bar Association of the respective division applying for.

Can only apply for the division where they hold bar membership—applications for other divisions will not be accepted.

Must have:

Conducted at least one full trial to final judgment in each of the following:

Civil Court

Magistrate Court

Session Court

Must be well-versed in corporate law, including laws governing public sector companies.

Must have an operational legal office in the relevant division.

Maximum age: 45 years (as of the closing date).

Excellent communication, advocacy, and documentation skills required.

?? Terms & Conditions

Retainership is initially for one year, extendable with approval from the Board of Directors based on performance.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

No TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.

Incomplete applications or those not meeting the eligibility criteria will not be entertained.

PCMMDC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without providing a reason.

Three (3) passport-sized photographs

Valid CNIC copy

Educational degrees and transcripts (verified by HEC & relevant Boards)

Valid Punjab Bar Council License

Experience Certificate (issued by the President of the respective Bar Association and countersigned by the relevant Session Judge)

Attested copies of one full trial case from each of the following:

Civil Court

Magistrate Court

Session Court

Punjab Bar Council Enrollment Certificate

Office address declaration on official letterhead
