Job Application for the Position of Legal Advisor

The District Council, Gujrat, invites applications for the position of Legal Advisor on a monthly Retainership Fee basis. We are seeking qualified, dedicated, and motivated lawyers with the following qualifications:

Position Details:

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in legal practice.
3. Familiarity with local government regulations, revenue, and commercial cases.
4. At least 10 years of experience in High Court practice.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Retainership Fee will be Rs. 25,000 per month. This fee is not case-to-case based and is subject to government approval.

  2. The appointment of the Legal Advisor will be on a part-time basis for a period of two years. However, this appointment can be canceled at any time without notice.

  3. The Legal Advisor will be required to represent the District Council Gujrat in the High Court, Labour Sessions, and other legal matters as directed by the council.

  4. The Legal Advisor will be bound by the provisions of the Punjab Local Government (Legal Advisor) Rules, 2003, and the directions of the department.

Required Documents:

Candidates should submit the following documents along with their applications:

  1. CNIC (National Identity Card) copy.

  2. Two recent passport-sized photographs.

  3. Copy of Bar Council license.

  4. Copies of educational certificates and degrees.

  5. Experience certificate from the relevant Bar Association.

Note: All documents must be attested.
