DISTRICT COUNCIL MIANWALI

Advertisement for Hiring Temporary Workers

The District Council Mianwali invites applications for temporary positions of Workman Driver (Heavy Vehicle) and Sewer Man (Sports/Support Staff).

To improve sanitation facilities in the district, machinery has been acquired through Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC). In order to operate this newly purchased machinery and improve public sanitation services, applications are invited from eligible candidates.

The recruitment will be carried out according to the instructions issued by the Government of Punjab Local Government and Community Development Department vide letter dated 02 December 2025.

Appointments will be made strictly on merit and on a temporary basis under the Industrial and Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance 1968.

However, if the performance of the appointed individuals is found unsatisfactory, their services may be terminated without prior notice, and the applicants will not have the right to pursue legal action against such termination.

Furthermore, if the Government later issues directions regarding contractual or regular services, the same candidates may be considered without issuing a new advertisement.

Vacant Positions

1. Heavy Vehicle Driver

Number of Posts: 02
Domicile: District Mianwali

Age Limit:
18 – 25 years

Qualification & Requirements

  • Matriculation (Second Division) from a recognized board

  • Valid HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) driving license

  • Minimum two years of driving experience

  • Must be literate and physically fit

2. Sewer Man

Number of Posts: 08
Domicile: District Mianwali

Age Limit:
18 – 25 years

Qualification & Requirements

  • Physically fit and capable of performing sanitation-related duties

  • Preference will be given to experienced candidates

Terms and Conditions

  1. Salary will be paid according to the daily wage rates approved by the Government of Punjab Finance Department.

  2. A general age relaxation of 5 years will be granted in the upper age limit.

  3. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience.

  4. Appointment will be purely temporary for 89 days, after which it will automatically terminate.

  5. These positions do not guarantee permanent employment.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates must submit a written application along with the following documents:

  • Copy of National Identity Card (CNIC)

  • Copies of educational certificates

  • Two passport-size photographs

  • Verified copies of experience certificates (if applicable)

Applications must be submitted by hand or through post to the office of the Incharge Officer (INS), District Council Mianwali.
