Position Overview

The Ministry of Railways is seeking a highly qualified professional for the post of Legal Adviser under the MP-II Scale. The role involves managing legal affairs and ensuring compliance with the MP Scales Policy, 2020.

Candidate Profile

  • Educational Qualification & Experience:

    • Ph.D. in Law with at least 05 years of professional experience.

    • OR

    • LL.M. / Barrister / Solicitor with at least 07 years of professional experience.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.

Terms and Conditions

  • Policy: Recruitment follows the MP Scales Policy, 2020 (as updated in 2021, 2023, and 2024).

  • Tenure: Initial contract of three (03) years, extendable for a maximum of two (02) additional years on an annual basis based on performance.

  • Remuneration: Pay package is based on the MP-II Scale.
