ADVERTISEMENT FOR HIRING OF VISITING FACULTY

(Spring Semester – 2026)

Punjab Tianjin University of Technology (PTUT), Lahore, is a Public Sector Technology University established by the Government of the Punjab. The University invites applications from qualified and competent candidates for hiring Visiting Faculty for the Spring Semester 2026 in the following subject areas for its four-year degree programs offered at the Township Campus.

Available Discipline

Subject / Field: Software Engineering Technology

Minimum Qualification:

  • MS / M.Phil (18 years of education) in the relevant field from a recognized institution

Required Areas of Expertise:
Candidates must possess teaching and/or professional expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Software Quality Assurance

  • Web Development

  • Digital Image Processing

  • Game Application Development

  • Object-Oriented Programming

  • Software Testing

  • Internet of Things (IoT)

Terms & Conditions

  1. Preference will be given to candidates possessing higher qualifications and relevant teaching or industry experience.

  2. Hiring shall be made on a purely temporary basis for the Spring Semester 2026.

  3. Visiting Faculty members having 18 years of education will be paid a monthly remuneration of Rs. 75,000/-, subject to a minimum workload of 12 lectures per week.

  4. In case the assigned workload is less than 12 lectures per week, remuneration will be paid per lecture at the approved rates of the University.

  5. Interested candidates are required to apply online through the University website.

  6. Applicants must deposit a processing fee of Rs. 500/- (challan available on the website) in any branch of the Bank of Punjab into the University’s account as detailed below and submit only the paid challan to the address mentioned.

  7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
