PUBLIC NOTICE

RECRUITMENT

Applications are invited from professionally sound individuals having domicile of Sindh and possessing the requisite qualification, work experience and expertise as per following eligibility criteria, for one-year contract employment on purely temporary basis in a Public Sector Organization of Sindh.

Law Officer Minimum: 25 Years
Maximum: 40 Years		 The Candidates should :-
  • have LLB/LLM Degree from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission OR should have the professional qualification of Barrister-at-Law. In case of foreign education, the candidate should have HEC Equivalence Certificate
  • be enrolled with Sindh Bar Council and holding license to appear before High Courts.
  • have at least 3 years of standing practice of independently pleading the cases before a High Court.
  • have rich knowledge of the Constitution of Pakistan and the general and procedural laws
  • be fluent in English
  • have rich expertise of legal drafting and preparing Written Arguments, Written Statements, PWCs, CAs, Misc. Applications, CPLAs and Reference
  • have good skills in drafting and vetting of agreements, contracts, landers, MOUs, etc.
  • be well-versed with court procedure and should be able liaise and deal with court offices for fixation of cases and case management.
  • have good negotiation skills for dispute resolution in Court matter and/or ADR cases.

Candidates having experties in Federal and Provincial fiscal laws may have added advantage.

Terms and Conditions :

  1. The positions are full time jobs and will be filled in on purely temporary basis under a contract for a period of one year. The contract may be extended at the discretion of the employer. However, contract employee shall not be regularized into a regular post.
  2. The appointees will be liable for posting anywhere in Sindh but may mostly be stationed in Karachi.
  3. The candidates already serving in Government Departments/Autonomous Bodies-Semi Government offices, must apply through proper channel.
  4. The candidates who fulfill prescribed eligibility criteria may apply. Applications of those who do not fulfill the requirements for the above position will be liable to be cancelled at any stage whether at the application scrutiny stage or during the process of selection or subsequently and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained.
  5. Only such of the candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria will be called for test/interview.
  6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test interview.
  7. Incomplete applications, applications without supporting documents and applications received after due date shall not be considered.
  8.
