CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

A progressive Public Sector Organization invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for the following posts on a contract basis.

1. Assistant Manager (IT/Software)

Approximate Pay: Rs. 180,000/-

Qualification (any one of the following):

  • a) BE/BSc (Engineering) in Computer/IT with 1st Division

  • b) BCS/BIT/BSE (04-year degree) with 1st Division or equivalent

  • c) MCS/MIT with 1st Division after a 02-year Bachelor's degree

  • d) MCS after a 04-year BCS/MSc Engineering (Computer/IT) with 1st Division

Relevant Experience: Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

Station for Posting: Karachi

2. Computer Technician

Approximate Pay: Rs. 80,000/-

Qualification: 03-year DAE from a recognized Polytechnic Institute in Computer Technology/IT with 1st Division.

Relevant Experience: Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

Station for Posting: Islamabad

3. Junior Computer Operator

Approximate Pay: Rs. 70,000/-

Qualification (any one of the following):

  • a) FSc/FA with 1st Division, plus a 06-month course in Computer Applications with a typing speed of 10,000 Key Depressions per Hour (KDPH)

  • b) FSc Computer Science with 1st Division and a typing speed of 10,000 Key Depressions per Hour (KDPH)

Relevant Experience: Experience in MS Word, Excel, drafting, proofreading correspondence, data entry, and record keeping will be preferred.

  • Station Restriction: Candidates are allowed to apply for one station only — either Islamabad or Karachi.

  • Divisional Requirement: Where the prescribed qualification is 1st Division in the final degree, only one 2nd Division (with not less than 50% marks) in the entire academic career from Matric onwards will be acceptable for eligibility. However, no 3rd Division is allowed in the entire academic career.

  • Definition of First Class/1st Division: For a degree, this means CGPA 3.0/4.0 for the semester system or a minimum of 60% marks for the annual system of examination.

  • Recognized Institutions: Required degrees must be obtained from institutions recognized by HEC/PEC/Board of Technical Education/Government, as applicable. For O-Level/A-Level, an equivalence certificate from the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) is required. For foreign degrees, an equivalence certificate issued by HEC showing division/percentage/CGPA must be provided.

  • Deadline for Completion: Required degrees and experience must be completed by the closing date of the advertisement.

  • Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 15 November 2026. However, the upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of Government servants/Ex-Servicemen in accordance with rules.

  • NOC Requirement: Those in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous body service should have a NOC at the time of test and interview.

  • Shortlisting: Fulfilling the selection criteria does not guarantee shortlisting. If a large number of applicants meet the selection criteria, only the most qualified/experienced would be shortlisted.

  • Application Completeness: Every column of the online application form is required to be filled. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

  • False Information: Any wrong/fake entry will lead to the cancellation of the induction process of the candidate at any stage.
