SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding domicile of Karachi Division for recruitment against vacant posts in Government Colleges working under the administrative control of the Regional Directorate of Colleges, Karachi Region.

Appointments will be made in accordance with prescribed qualifications, quota, and experience for each post.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

VACANCY DETAILS

1. Laboratory Assistant (BPS-07)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years
  • Qualification:
    • Intermediate (Science)
    • At least Grade “C” from a recognized Board of Intermediate Education
  • Total Vacancies: 448

Quota Distribution:

  • Minority Quota (5%): 22
  • Disabled Persons Quota (5%): 22
  • Female Quota (15%): 67
  • Transgender Quota (5%): 02

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must:

  • Apply through the Government of Sindh Job Portal:
    https://sip.gos.pk
  • Have passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) with at least 40% marks
  • Possess a valid certificate issued by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS)

AGE LIMIT & RELAXATION

  • Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission.
  • Age relaxation will be granted as per:
    • Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024
    • Government of Sindh Notification dated 16 October 2024

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. Quota for initial appointments will be observed as per Government of Sindh policies.
  2. Candidates already in Government service must:
    • Apply through proper channel
    • Submit NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the time of interview
  3. Appointments will be made under:
    • Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973
    • Recruitment Policy dated 26 April 2023
  4. Interview schedule will be uploaded on the official job portal.
  5. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.
  6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.

IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING STS TEST

  • The validity of STS General Screening Test results (held in January 2023 and June 2023) has been extended up to:
    30 June 2028
  • This extension is issued via Government of Sindh letter dated 2 December 2025.
