The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC), Peshawar, invites applications from eligible male and female citizens of Pakistan who possess domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for the following vacant positions.

1. Position Details

Post Title: Junior Scale Stenographer

Pay Scale: BPS-14
Age Limit: 18 – 30 years
Total Vacancies: 06

Quota / Zonal Allocation:

  • Zone-I – 01

  • Zone-II – 01 (Both sexes)

  • Zone-IV – 01

  • Zone-V – 01

  • Zone-VI – 01

  • Open Merit / Others – 01

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

  2. Shorthand speed: Minimum 50 words per minute in English.

  3. Typing speed: Minimum 35 words per minute in English.

  4. Computer Skills: Must possess working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Candidates must apply online by visiting www.kppsc.gov.pk — no application fee required.

  2. Online application submission starts from 11th December, 2025.

  3. Last date for submission of applications is 25th December, 2025 (05:00 PM).

  4. Test/interview details will be communicated through SMS and e-letter.

  5. No call letters will be issued via postal or courier services.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read all instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.

  • Unclaimed qualifications will not be accepted.

  • Applications containing incorrect or false information will be rejected.

  • Avoid using ported/converted mobile numbers for registration.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

  • Shortlisted government employees must submit NOC/DPC (duly countersigned by the competent authority) within 15 days after declaration of results (as per KP PSC Regulations 2017).

  • If an advertisement is withdrawn after publication, a corrigendum will be issued.

  • Age will be calculated as of the closing date of the advertisement.

  • The competent authority may modify, cancel, increase, or decrease the number of vacancies as per Provincial Government policy.

  • Candidates will be notified of test/interview dates through SMS or the PSC website.

  • Candidates failing to meet eligibility criteria under KPPSC rules and regulations will not be allowed to appear in tests/interviews.

  • The application and candidature of candidates will be rejected if required documents (educational credentials, character certificate, domicile, CNIC, photographs, etc.) are not submitted within 15 days of result declaration as per Regulation 2017.

  • Candidates holding dual domicile on the closing date will be rejected.

  • A married female candidate not in government service may use either her own domicile or that of her husband. Once selected in the online form, the option cannot be changed.

  • Candidates must regularly visit www.kppsc.gov.pk for updates.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for tests/interviews.

  • Errors and omissions are subject to rectification by KPPSC.
