Jinnah Sindh Medical University
Jinnah Sindh Medical University was previously known as Sindh Medical College, it was established in 1973. It was given the status of University in 2012. The University has affiliations with Higher Education Commission and the University Grants Commission (Pakistan). In 2003, the Sindh Medical College was merged with Dow University of Health sciences, the curriculum, teaching methodology, research work and certain resources are shared with Dow University. The University was established with the vision of producing able researchers, practitioners and medical sciences teachers. This University has accomplished this goal through exposing its alumni to first class teaching and research.
