The Finance Department of the Government of Sindh invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates on a purely contract basis, under a special package, for the following positions. Applicants must hold a Sindh domicile and meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Prepare financial reports in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Compile financial and statistical reports and interpret them for stakeholders.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of best practices and procedures in finance.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, accounting software, and related applications.
Prepare reporting frameworks compliant with SECP regulations.
At least 15 years of experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm.
Experience in SECP and other regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and audit processes.
Expertise in financial statement preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Practical experience in ensuring accurate and timely financial reconciliation.
Education & Qualification:
Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications:
ACMA/ACCA
Master’s in Accounting or Finance from a HEC-recognized university
Candidates with experience in financial, accounting, or insurance sectors will be preferred.
Experience Requirement:
Relevant experience in Chartered Accountancy firms and financial management
Prior work in insurance companies, banking, or corporate finance is desirable.
Age Limit:
Candidates must not be older than 45 years on the date of application submission.
Contract Tenure: Appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of two (2) years, extendable for another two (2) years based on satisfactory performance evaluation by competent authorities.
Domicile Requirement: Applicants must hold a Sindh domicile (PRC – Form D).
Salary Package: Selected candidates will be offered a competitive, market-based salary package.
Government Employees: Applicants currently employed in the public sector must submit their application through proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department.
Shortlisting & Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for a test/interview.
Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be provided.
