The Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC-MTI), Peshawar, invites applications from eligible candidates for the following positions on a contract basis, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

?? Available Positions

1. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Paeds Cardiology

• Positions: Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor / Intensivist (Paeds Cardiology)

• Gender: Male/Female

• Age Limit: Not specified

Qualification & Experience:

• FCPS in Pediatric Intensive Care / Pediatrics, or

• MRCP with relevant specialty training, or

• US Board Certification / CCT, or equivalent qualification recognized and registered by PMDC.

• Eligibility criteria for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor as per latest PMDC Rules and MTI Act 2015 (Appendix-10).

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.

• Two published research papers (as per PMDC requirement).

• Preference for candidates experienced in modern, state-of-the-art intensive care units (minimum 2 years).

2. Trainee Registrar – Paeds ICU

• Gender: Male/Female

• Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC with valid registration.

  • FCPS Part-II training completed in Pediatrics.

• Preference: Experience/training in Paeds ICU at a tertiary care hospital.

3. Medical Officer – Nephrology

• Gender: Male/Female

• Age Limit: Up to 40 years

• Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC with valid registration.

  • House Job Certificate.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years post-house job experience in relevant specialty at a tertiary care hospital.

4. Clinical Technician – Cath Lab

• Gender: Male/Female

• Age Limit: Up to 40 years

• Qualification:

  • Diploma in Cardiology from KP Medical Faculty.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Cardiac Cath Lab at a tertiary care hospital.

5. Assistant Cardiac Perfusionist

• Gender: Male/Female

• Age Limit: Up to 30 years

• Qualification:

  • BS Perfusion Sciences from HEC-recognized university.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification cardiac perfusion experience at a tertiary care hospital.

6. Research Analyst

• Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Statistics/Public Health (16 years of education) from HEC-recognized institution.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in clinical research and database management.
