The Lady Reading Hospital Medical Teaching Institution (LRH-MTI), Peshawar, is an autonomous public sector institution operating under the framework of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reforms Act (2015) and its subsequent amendments. Applications are invited from qualified, dynamic professionals for the following institutional leadership positions:
Education: Master’s degree in Hospital/Health Services Management, Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), Public Administration (MPA), or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of senior-level management experience. (Candidates with a medical degree combined with 7 years of senior hospital management experience are highly encouraged to apply).
Clinical & Operational Excellence: Directing all non-clinical administrative operations to ensure optimal hospital performance and patient care support.
Financial Management: Executing detailed financial planning, budgeting, and resource optimization across all hospital departments.
Performance Monitoring: Establishing metrics to monitor institutional efficiency, staff productivity, and service delivery.
Human Resources & Communication: Leading HR functions for administrative staff and serving as a key communicator for hospital operational updates.
Education: Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate clinical qualification (e.g., FCPS, FRCP, MRCP, American Boards, or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of senior clinical management and teaching experience in a reputable healthcare institution. Must possess a distinguished professional record.
Clinical Governance: Ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence, patient safety, and medical ethics across the hospital.
Academic & Training Programs: Overseeing undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education/training programs.
Resource Optimization: Collaborating with the Hospital Director to ensure appropriate medical staffing, clinical resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN), Nursing Administration, or Health Services Management/Public Health with a background in Nursing. Must be registered with the relevant Nursing Council.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of senior management and administrative experience within a large, reputable nursing department or hospital setting.
Nursing Care Standards: Implementing, monitoring, and upgrading nursing care protocols to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
Staff Management & Development: Supervising the nursing workforce, managing schedules, and driving continuous professional training.
Operational Monitoring: Tracking the efficiency and regional alignment of nursing services with national healthcare benchmarks.
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA/ICMA), or Master's/MBA in Finance/Accounts from an HEC-recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive post-qualification experience in senior financial management, preferably within large public or private sector corporate/healthcare structures.
Financial Policy & Control: Developing and implementing robust financial procedures, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies.
Advisory Role: Providing detailed financial analysis, forecasts, and strategic advice to the Dean, Medical Director, and Hospital Director.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all financial operations strictly align with Government laws, MTI regulations, and institutional allocation audits.
Education: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or equivalent professional audit qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional internal/external auditing experience at a senior level, preferably within a complex institutional setup.
Internal Auditing & Review: Designing and executing comprehensive internal audit plans to evaluate risk management, control, and governance processes.
Risk Management: Reviewing financial operations, administrative compliance, and resource utilization protocols.
Reporting: Providing independent, objective analyses and recommendations directly to the Board of Governors (BoG) Audit Committee.
MTI Framework: All appointments will be governed under the terms, conditions, and rules established by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reforms Act (2015).
