Position Title:

Head of Corporate & Financial Institutions (Corporate & FIs)
Location: Islamabad (ISB) / Karachi (KHI)

Job Type:

• Permanent (subject to successful completion of the probationary period).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
   Lead the Corporate & Financial Institutions (FIs) business line with full responsibility for portfolio growth, profitability, and risk management.

2. Product Development:
   Drive the design and rollout of both Conventional and Islamic financing solutions, ensuring Shariah compliance and alignment with global best practices.

3. Commercial Strategy:
   Develop and implement strategies to market lending, insurance, and risk-mitigation products to SMEs, corporations, and FIs.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
   Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including SBP, Chambers of Commerce, TDAP, export associations, and international ECAs.

5. Risk & Compliance:
   Ensure the implementation of robust credit, risk, and compliance frameworks in line with international standards.

6. Team Leadership:
   Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team capable of delivering innovation and growth in line with the organization’s objectives.

7. Global Integration:
   Establish and maintain correspondent relationships and partnerships with domestic and international FIs, ECAs, and multilateral agencies.

8. Digital Transformation:
   Collaborate with technology teams to digitalize trade finance delivery, client onboarding, and reporting processes.

9. Executive Role:
   Serve as a member of EXIM Bank's Executive Management Team, advising senior leadership on Corporate & FIs strategy.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum: Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution (local or international) approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

• Additional Qualifications (preferred): CFA, FRM, CA, CMA certifications.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant banking experience in Pakistan.

• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing Corporate & FI portfolios, with full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability.

• Experience with an ECA (Export Credit Agency) will be an added advantage.

• Proven track record in product development, client relationship management, and strategic business growth.

• Understanding of the role of EXIM Bank and ECAs in promoting national exports.
