Position: Head of Compliance

Brief Job Description:

Develop and lead EXIM Bank's compliance strategy, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory obligations.
Oversee bank-wide compliance frameworks including KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), CFT (Counter Financing of Terrorism), and Proliferation Financing, in line with State Bank of Pakistan regulations and international best practices.
Establish standards and procedures to prevent, detect, and address non-compliance.
Review and ensure compliance of internal policies, product programs, SOPs, and marketing materials.
Foster a proactive compliance culture, monitor updates from regulators, and liaise with SBP and other regulatory bodies.
Conduct compliance training for employees and oversee compliance risk management and reporting.
Design and implement a Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML) framework and guide mitigation efforts.
Maintain a regularly updated inventory of regulations.
Represent the Compliance function in meetings with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the CEO & President.

Qualification:

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Degree must be from a leading local or international university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in/with a bank or Development Finance Institution (DFI) in Pakistan.
At least 4 years in a senior compliance leadership role within a bank or DFI.

Job Type:

Permanent (subject to successful completion of probationary period).
