CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN BANKING

The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd. (PPCBL)

1. Group Head – Retail Banking (01 Position)

Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized or reputable foreign university.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in the banking or financial sector.

  • At least 5 years of senior management experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive retail banking strategy focused on customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth.

  • Create and launch new deposit and asset products, and redesign existing offerings to meet market trends.

  • Drive liability and asset growth through multiple acquisition channels.

  • Oversee collection and recovery of the retail asset portfolio.

  • Establish and manage government, institutional, and liability sales channels for sustained growth.

  • Ensure efficient branch operations, high-quality service delivery, and regulatory compliance.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing retail banking team to achieve business targets.

  • Promote digital adoption, enhance customer experience, and increase transaction volumes.

  • Design innovative customer-centric retail products and services.

  • Strengthen relationships with key retail and institutional clients.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance, risk management, audits, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Develop and manage detailed business plans, KPIs, and financial targets for the retail segment.

  • Conduct competitive market scans to identify business opportunities and sector challenges.

  • Oversee the bank’s branch network to ensure operational excellence.

  • Identify, nurture, and retain top talent; ensure succession planning for leadership roles.

  • Manage the retail banking budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics.


2. Head – Customer Experience (01 Position)

Qualification

  • Minimum 14 years of education from an HEC-recognized or reputable foreign institution.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience, with 4 years in customer experience or banking roles.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Complaint Management function in full compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.

  • Implement the Fair Treatment of Customers (FTC) Framework and Consumer Protection principles across all bank operations.

  • Develop and approve service standards for branches, digital channels, call centers, and alternate delivery channels (ADCs).

  • Lead the Conduct Assessment Framework and coordinate with SBP, including preparation of Board-level reports.

  • Serve as Secretary to the Service Council and support the CEO in customer experience reporting.

  • Represent PPCBL at SBP forums related to customer protection, service delivery, and consumer experience.

  • Evaluate call center operations, ensuring service quality and compliance with SBP guidelines.

  • Develop monitoring mechanisms, including service quality audits, branch visits, and channel performance reviews.

  • Prepare domain-related policies and deploy competent resources for effective customer experience management.

  • Deliver detailed CX analytics to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Develop Internal Service Measures (ISMS) to evaluate interdepartmental service performance.
