Detailed Job Profile: Goods Evaluators

Role Description

Goods Evaluators are technical contractual positions within the FBR. Appointees will utilize their domain-specific academic backgrounds to evaluate, classify, and assess various commodities, chemical compositions, engineering items, and commercial goods for trade and taxation purposes.

Eligibility Requirements & General Criteria

• Total Vacancies: 280 Positions

• Experience: No prior work experience is required, though proven technical experience is highly desirable.

• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years old as of June 2, 2026. Note: No age relaxation is applicable.

• Tenure & Salary: Purely on a contract basis. Yearly contract renewal is strictly subject to performance metrics against KPIs (system-based forced ranking). An attractive market-based salary package will be offered.

Testing & Application Process

• Screening/Test Fee: Rs. 5,000/- (Non-refundable and non-transferable).

• Payment Method: The fee voucher must be generated via the IBA portal and deposited at any branch of Meezan Bank Limited.

• Test Locations: Written tests will be conducted by IBA Karachi at specified centers in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and Islamabad.

• Document Verification: All degrees/testimonials must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Applicants with foreign degrees must submit an HEC Equivalence Certificate. Original documents along with a set of photocopies must be produced during the interview.

• Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government/Semi-Government or Statutory Bodies must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
